Originally purchased to assist with work around the family's sawmill, Kyle and Tasha quickly recognized that this versatile machine could benefit others in the community. Landscapers, arborists, contractors, and homeowners often needed specialized equipment but didn't want the expense of owning it. Seeing that need, they began renting the machine from their home. What started as one piece of equipment soon grew through hard work and word-of-mouth referrals. After only six months of operating from their home, the demand had grown enough that Kyle and Tasha secured their first commercial rental location in 2023. Rather than continue leasing a facility, Kyle and Tasha invested in what is now the permanent home of Trip H Sales and Rentals. Purchasing their own location marked another major step in the company's growth and demonstrated their long-term commitment to serving Hot Springs and the surrounding communities. Since then, the company has continued to grow by strategically adding equipment to meet the needs of contractors, landscapers, municipalities, homeowners, and businesses throughout the region. From compact equipment and excavators to specialty attachments and professional-grade machinery, every addition to the fleet has been made with one goal in mind: helping customers complete their jobs safely, efficiently, and affordably. Today, Trip H Sales and Rentals remains 100% family-owned by Kyle and Tasha Hawthorn.
